Director & Cinematographer

Tamar Schwarz is an Israeli Director and Cinematographer. Tamar's journey in the film industry began at Alon High School of Arts in 2013, where her initial experience in acting sparked an interest in the art of filmmaking. This interest led her to pursue further studies at the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University, from 2020 to 2025.
During her studies, Tamar directed the short film "Season 21" which received the "Best Student Film" award at the Rome International Film Festival and was nominated at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.

In her role as a cinematographer, Tamar has contributed to various projects, including the web Series "Children of Dawn" and "We Are Back" wich were nominated for the Academy Awards of 2025. Also The short film she shot "The Father, The Daughter and The Hostage" was nominated at Indie Short Fest. Also including the film "Wanna Play?" which has won the support of Keren Makor initiative. Her work in these projects highlights her skills in visual storytelling and her versatility in the film industry.
